Athletics & Aquatics

Burlington Recreation and Parks provides many venues, leagues, and opportunities to be involved in a wide variety of sports. Check out what is offered!  
Athletics offer youth and adult programs focus on sportsmanship, and teamwork in a fun and safe athletic environment. Sports include: baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, lacrosse, softball, pickle ball and badminton.
With seasonal pools and the year-round aquatic center, City of Burlington Aquatics offers residents many swimming activities. The City pools offer public swimming, competitive swimming, lap lanes, lessons, American Red Cross Certification courses, rentals and more. 
The Burlington BMX track is located at Fairchild Park and is sanctioned under the American Bicycle Association. All skill levels are welcome. BMX season begins in March each year.
Disc Golf 
Enjoy disc golf a challenging 18-hole course at Springwood Park. It includes six hole "Rookie Run" for beginners and family fun.
Indian Valley Golf Couse nestled along the banks of the Haw River offers golfers a fair test of their golf game. The 18-hole Ellis Maples par 70 course is available for regular and tournament play. Juniors and seniors are welcome.
The Burlington Tennis Center offers twelve courts for open and tournament play, lessons, and youth, men's and women's programs. The center has been recognized as an Outstanding Tennis Facility and is an official Tennis Welcome Center.
