Maynard Aquatic Center
ABOUT THE MAC
The Maynard Aquatic Center is a year-round facility, featuring a large 286,000 gallon, multi-purpose heated pool, complete with a large recreational area, competition lap lanes and a low diving board. A walk-in ramp provides easy pool access, and a Frog slide offers hours of kiddie fun. During the summer season, the side panels enclosing the pool area are removed, and the pool converts to an outdoor facility with a roof to shield swimmers from the sun.

important user tips, information and reminders
- Our staff do not have early access to the reservation schedule! Please do not ask us to reserve a swim slot before the window opens, or when you are checking in, to reserve for the following day. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to secure a spot. Though happy to assist those without internet access, we ask that you make your own reservations if possible.
- Your swim reservation is for any lane within the activity type selected. Specific lanes within that activity are on a first come-first served basis and cannot be individually reserved. Make your online selection based on your planned activity type (if a hybrid water walker/lap swimmer, you may choose either, but be aware that some lap lanes will be too deep for walking). Please do not ask others to move.
- There are a certain number of click-throughs required to make a reservation. You will see "Booking Confirmed" once you complete all the steps. You can double-check by clicking on to your profile (upper right-hand corner of the website) and looking at "My Schedule". You should also receive a confirmation email.
- The locker rooms are open and available for changing and toilet access (no showers or lockers). We ask that you clear the facility within 5 minutes of your session's end.
- No refunds for weather related closures. Consider cancelling if severe weather likely.
